Background and motivation:
Undercity courier turned contract rigger. Lira grew up threading drones and micro-skiffs through the maintenance arteries beneath OmniTrine’s transit grid. After a corporate interdiction squad seized her crew’s rigs for “routing violations,” she committed to staying independent and outrunning anyone who tries to cage her.
Something she knows and is excited by:
She tracks vehicle telemetry instinctively. Torque curves, thrust-vector jitter, and power-train lag are signals she reads as quickly as speech. Any machine with wheels, rotors, or jets is a system she wants to optimize.
Why she started shadowrunning:
Shadowrunning pays better than courier work and keeps her surrounded by machines she can push to their limits. Corps no longer dictate her speed or her routes.
Why she joined this team:
They needed a precision driver with autonomous support rigs, and she needed muscle who could keep heat off her when she’s piloting. The exchange is efficient: they survive extraction windows, and she gets room to race without corporate shackles.
